ExCampionite SAM KATGARA class of 1977 won the motocross conducted by Sportscraft for the fifth consecutive time on 23rd Feb 1998. Held at the NSCI Sam emerged as the fastest driver after a stiff challenge from other seasoned campaigners to post the fastest time of 2 minutes 55.38 seconds in the 1800 meter winding course. He also bagged two more titles in the Esteem modified class and the other in the Zen general class.
