Former multiple-time men's national squash champions Anil Nayar, ExCampionite class of '87 Adrian Ezra and Meherwan Daruwala were presented with `Mid-Day lifetime achievement awards' at a function which was graced by World Squash Federation's president emeritus and Malaysian crown prince, Tunku Imran.
The London-based Ezra was personally present to receive the award from the Malaysian prince while the New York-based Nayar's brother received the award on his behalf.
Daruwala, who was the undisputed champion before Ezra toppled him, was also personally present to receive his honour.
The victorious Maharashtra men's team, the national team champions, were presented with a cash award of Rs 50,000 for winning the inter-state title at Calcutta last month.
