Good morning one and all!
Honourable Chief Guest, respected Principal, members of the staff, and my fellow Campionites. This is the last time I will be formally addressing all of you, wearing the school blazer, the privileged School Captain’s cord and my school uniform. Needless to say I am filled with nostalgia.
What separates a good school from a great one? Is it the stellar faculty, the over achieving students, all of its incredible accolades? It is a bit of all of these things. It is their stellar faculties that pushes its students to give up every spare minute to the pursuit of excellence, and lets them believe that the sky is the limit. It is also its students, who work tirelessly believing that the sky is the limit, until the sky becomes point of view. The accolades are simply a result of these two elements functioning in perfect harmony. After spending 11 life changing years at Campion, I can say with utmost certainty that it is one of the greatest institutions I could have studied in. I speak for my entire batch when I say that it has had a profound effect on us in our most formative years, transforming us into confident young men and beautiful human beings.
This year our batch had 41 students securing above 90%, a feat that has never before been achieved in Campion’s history. But it wasn’t just academic excellence that we strived for. We participated in a plethora of extracurricular activities, winning various awards and adding to the glory of our revered institution. I am sure that even though we have graduated, none of us will forget the values instilled in us over the course of the years spent in Campion and we will do Campion proud in all the endeavors we pursue.
Words cannot express how grateful we are to our Principal, teachers, and the entire administrative staff for all the work they have put in over the years. We are forever indebted to you. It is they who have sculpted us into these magnificent masterpieces when we were simply clay, and I extend my heartiest ‘thank you’ to all of them on behalf of my entire batch. I can go on and on saying what Campion does and why it is what it is, but that can be summarized in 5 simple words, “Campion transforms boys into men.”
Thank You.
