This school year unfurled again under the baton of Rev. Fr. Savall the same staff collaborated but with an addition. Brother Augustine Wetzel to take the new Standard V. The register numbered 76. Scouting was the newly welcomed activity; it soon boasted a rousing number and before the year end did even go on ‘Parade’ while also adding here Camp Fire events to its annals plus a camping trip at Khandala.

Our boys contributed to the programme of the second Camp Fire with the rendering of ‘A Day in the School’ This year found our scouts as a registered troop. The school Medical Examination came to stay as a regular annual feature. The study of Hindi was introduced under Mr. Jayaker.

The school gratefully received Rs 2000 from Dr. Socrates Noronha in memory of his late wife Dr. (Mrs.) Myrtle Noronha to perpetuate her kind association with Campion School. This donation was to found a scholarship for the best Catholic Boy. The award for this year went to Master Osborne D’Souza standard V.

The year’s cycle again marked another inspection and again came it’s concluding School Feast whereon took place the ‘First Communion’, ‘Prize Distribution’ and the play ‘The King and the Astrologer’ is Grace the Most Reverend Thomas Roberts SJ presided.
