When I was told I was going to receive my first Holy Communion I was very happy. I was prepared for my first Holy Communion by Mrs. Michael who taught me the meaning of Mortal sins arid small sins, and how to love God. If I am a good boy, God will love to come into my heart Fr. More taught me how to go to -confession and how my sins are forgiven by the Priest who takes the place of God. Mrs. Michael taught me that when I received First Holy Communion I received the blood and blood of Jesus Christ in a little piece of bread called "Host". On the day before my First Holy Communion I went for the first time to confession and I felt free from my sins. Then my First Communion day came! We had to dress in white shirts, long white trousers with blue ribbon across and we had to have white candles. I liked best the story which Fr. More told us about the little Roman boy who died defending the Host against a crowd of Pagans. After Holy Commu-nion Fr. More gave me a picture of a little boy receiving Communion. It was a very happy day for me and I shall always remember my Holy Communion Day when I received Jesus Christ in my heart.
