THE CUB
There was a boy who was a cub,
And he went to camp with a mug,
He ate his dinner by: the camp fire,
After which he sang to his heart's desire.
Alas! it was time to go to bed,
And so, his night prayers he said,
He tossed and turned and finally ran,
To the slumber land of the tired man.
All too soon the morning came,
To find this cub bright and game.
To do his share of the toi
And learn not to be a foil.
Knots to tie and signals to send,
In first aid, cuts -and wounds to tend,
But home-wards then he had to tramp
Sad at leaving the jolly camp
